She won’t just be performing this time, though: Jenny is producing a Netflix Original Series about cam models. As Netflix does not accept unsolicited projects, and Jenny has publicly stated that it will be a Netflix Original, it sounds like the project really has legs.

(Camland Podcast) Clips4Sale warns models of possible email scam – Fetish clip site Clips4Sale has posted a message for models and producers warning of a scam email sent to several C4S studios. The email encourages them to click a link to join a site called “BitLink”, where they can upload their C4S content to earn more money. The subject line of the email is BitLink – Clips4Salele! and it appears to be sent from admin @ bitlink .tv

(Camland Podcast) OnlyFans adds new vault feature – Major fan club platform OnlyFans has added a new feature to their arsenal. The new “vault” feature (accessed through the menu that includes referrals, settings, and statements) allows you to select media previously posted to your timeline or sent in messages to then send as new messages or post to your timeline.

(Camland Podcast) ManyVids Community Awards 2020 – Manyvids has announced the details of their 2020 MV Community Awards. While the MV Awards focus on the MV Stars who excel at creating content to sell, the MV Community Awards promote creators that use the features of the site that Manyvids is trying to promote. In 2019 the categories focused on MV Social and MV Live, and this year is no different, though they have also added several categories for SFW content.

(Camland Podcast) Twitter adds audio tweets – Mainstream social media platform Twitter–one of the few social media sites that allows adult content–has added a new audio feature to its services. This new feature, which is currently only available to iPhone users in a staggered global roll-out, allows users to record up to 140 seconds of audio which can be continuously recorded in an auto-generated thread of up to 25 voice tweets.

(Camland Podcast) TTS withdraws from FSC PASS testing program – The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) has announced that Talent Testing Service (TTS) has withdrawn from the Performer Availability Screening Services (PASS) program. The program, which provides performers access to a US-wide network of STI testing services with electronic access to results, also includes Cutting Edge Testing (CET) and Adult Industry Testing (AIT), both of which continue to be part of the PASS program.

(Camland Podcast) Sharesome adds promoted posts for NSFW content – Adult social media platform Sharesome has announced that users can now promote their profiles and posts through paid advertising on the site. Launched in 2018, Sharesome now has over 1.5 million monthly visits, and aims to be to adult e-commerce what Instagram and Twitter are to mainstream online businesses. Promoted posts are paid for in the platform’s “Flame Credits”, with campaign budgets starting at $5 USD.

(Camland Podcast) APAG board members sue parent union – The feud between the Adult Performers Actors Guild (APAG) and their parent union, the International Entertainment Adult Union (IEAU), continues with a lawsuit filed by APAG board members Alana Evans, Ruby, and Kelly Pierce.

(Camland Podcast) Paxum releases statement on Wirecard – Adult-friendly payment processor Paxum has released a statement regarding the current situation with Wirecard. Paxum is a processing partner with Wirecard, whose CEO resigned in the wake of auditors discovering $2 billion in missing funds.

(Camland Podcast) YNOT Virtual Summit (July 20-22, 2020) – YNOT has announced that, although their Cammunity even has been rescheduled to 2021, they have a summit planned for July 2020. Taking place completely online, the YNOT Summit will have content aimed at both models and webmasters, as well as virtual “hangout rooms” for attendees to chat and network. The 3-day event is free to attend for adult industry members, and is closed to the public.

(Camland Podcast) Cam4 Stars, Stripes & Maple Leaves Contest (June 29–July 5, 2020) – Popular cam site Cam4 is running a contest for Canadian and American models to celebrate their national holidays. Models are encouraged to perform themed shows from June 29-July 5, 2020 to qualify for an automatic 100 token bonus, and the top earners will share in a $625 cash prize pool.

(Camland Podcast) FSC answers FAQs for COVID-19, PASS – FSC has released the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions, and will be hosting live Q&A sessions on June 24, 25, and 26, 2020 at 11:30am Pacific/2:30pm Eastern with FSC Executive Director Michelle L. LeBlanc. Pre-registration for these sessions is required, as they are limited to 20 participants each time.

(Camland Podcast) Lindsey Banks raises $10k for Black Lives Matter, COVID-19 relief – Clips4Sale, Pornhub, and We-Vibe partnered with Lindsey and BanksieTV to support the fundraising effort. Over $10,000 was raised and donations were made to Central Texas Food Bank, Barbados Sole to Soul Foundation, South Africa SWEAT Organization, BLM Campaign Zero, and Black Women’s Health Imperative.

(Camland Podcast) BitVids is closing down – After 2.5 years, cryptocurrency clip site BitVids has announced that it is closing down. BitVids sent an announcement via email that the site was shutting down, and the site itself is already offline.

(Camland Podcast) Bucharest Summit announces new dates (Oct 27-29, 2020) – The Bucharest Summit, a popular B2B event for the international adult industry, has announced that they will be going ahead with the conference in October 2020. The event will take place from October 27 to 29 in Bucharest, Romania at the Sheraton Hotel and will also include the Bucharest Summit Awards.

(Camland Podcast) BIPOC Adult Industry Collective formed to fight industry-wide racism – A diverse group of sex workers has come together to form the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color) Adult Industry Collective (BIPOC-AIC) to advocate for change as the adult industry grapples with issues related to race and representation. BIPOC-AIC released a statement this week outlining their goals and objectives, and provided a specific and detailed list of the changes that the adult industry needs to make in order to move towards correcting the systemic racism that has plagued all parts of the industry for years.
