OnlyFans Updates Referral Program, Capping Program.

On May 1st 2020, fan club platform OnlyFans changed their referral program, capping it. Originally if someone signed up with your referral link, you’d earn 5% of the referred creators earnings. The update changed it to now you will earn 5% for the first year, and you can only earn up to $50,000 per referred creator. There’s no limit to referred creators or your total referral earnings.

OnlyFans Said: “We made the important decision to invest even more resources in our infrastructure, our technology and our support teams, so that we can continue to grow as the top platform for creators to earn money.”

OnlyFans Puts Themselves First

OnlyFans making this change during a pandemic, due to coronavirus (COVID-19) is understandable due to they amount of new sign ups, but by no means at all does it make it fair. Many models exchange their promotion and advice in return for models signing up under their referral link. They should at least grandfather in lifetime 5% for accounts signed up before May 1st. In fact due to all the new sign ups, OnlyFans should keep the lifetime 5% to help them and their MODELS earn more. Many models are going to twitter to express the outrage they feel, understandably. Last week popular clip site Manyvids also made a change, retiring MV Tube. A change that effects their models negatively. Now more than ever this shows sites need to listen to their models, they should be working for us, not us working for them.
